Actian, a data and analytics company, has been named an Exemplary vendor in Ventana Research's 2024 Data Platform Buyers' Guide, the company announced Wednesday.
The guide evaluates operational and analytic data platform vendors across seven categories, considering both product capabilities and customer experience. Actian, a division of HCLSoftware, received high marks for its Actian Data Platform.
Ventana Research highlighted Actian's strength in manageability, naming it an Overall Leader in this category. The company's ability to manage data across multiple clouds and on-premises environments contributed to this recognition.
Actian also ranked highly for customer experience, alongside tech giants like Google Cloud and Salesforce. Customers praised the company's product roadmap, use cases and website references.
