Cloudera has unveiled two new premium offerings for its Observability suite, aimed at simplifying platform administration across on-premises and public cloud data centers.
The data and AI company announced Cloudera Observability Premium On-Premises and Cloudera Observability Premium for Public Cloud Data Hub on Wednesday. These additions provide a single source of observability for enterprises with highly secure networks.
Cloudera Observability Premium On-Premises allows customers to run observability entirely within their data centers, ensuring optimal monitoring and troubleshooting even in air-gapped configurations. The Public Cloud Data Hub offering extends advanced capabilities to public cloud users, including real-time monitoring and financial governance.
Both solutions offer features such as real-time monitoring for Data Hub clusters, financial governance with cost factors and capacity forecasting, and data observability with hot and cold table analysis.
Industry analyst Sanjeev Mohan said, "Implementing advanced observational capabilities is critical for enterprises as they provide real-time system insights that enable proactive issue resolution and enhance security, ultimately leading to operations and reduced risks."
The expanded offerings aim to help enterprises maximize investment, streamline self-service troubleshooting, and enhance visibility into resource costs and usage.
Dipto Chakravarty, chief product officer at Cloudera, emphasized the pressure on enterprises to better manage data resources and efficiently leverage data across organizations.
Cloudera will demonstrate its latest updates at the AWS NYC Summit on July 10 at the Jacob Javits Convention Center, showcasing its hybrid open data lakehouse capabilities.
The company's observability suite is designed to continuously discover and collect performance telemetry data across applications, services, and infrastructure components in Cloudera environments.
