Databricks, the Data and AI company, announced the full agenda Sunday for its upcoming Data + AI Summit, a global event for the data community from June 10-13 in San Francisco and online.
Tens of thousands of data leaders, open source enthusiasts, and Databricks customers and partners are expected to attend and learn about the latest advances in generative AI, machine learning, analytics and data governance. The event's "Data Intelligence for All" theme highlights how organizations can democratize their data to build AI systems and analytics.
Keynote speakers will include Databricks co-founders Ali Ghodsi, Matei Zaharia, Patrick Wendell and Reynold Xin, who created Apache Spark, Delta Lake and MLflow. Other featured speakers are NVIDIA founder and CEO Jensen Huang, Stanford professor Fei-Fei Li, DuckDB creator Hannes Mühleisen, and University of Washington professor Yejin Choi.
The summit will offer over 500 breakout sessions on generative AI, data sharing, governance and industry trends. There will be hands-on training sessions, open source community meetups, and networking events like a welcome reception and the Data After Hours party.
Industry-specific tracks will highlight data intelligence use cases in financial services, retail, health care, media, public sector, manufacturing and energy. Sessions will explain how to build large language models using Databricks' tools.
The Women in Data + AI celebration will honor women's achievements in the field. Over 145 sponsors and partners like AWS, Google, Microsoft and NVIDIA will participate.
Databricks says the event will share "actionable best practices and compelling insights" to help organizations on their data journey.
