Teradata Corporation has appointed Chad Bennett as senior vice president of investor relations and corporate development, the company announced Thursday.

Bennett joins Teradata from Craig-Hallum Capital, where he served as senior vice president and partner in equity research, covering software and SaaS companies. His experience includes over 20 years as a sell-side analyst, with expertise in financial modeling, valuation, and competitive intelligence.

In his new role, Bennett will be responsible for maintaining relationships with financial analysts and institutional investors, as well as identifying corporate development opportunities.

Claire Bramley, Teradata's chief financial officer, expressed confidence in Bennett's ability to lead the company's investor relations efforts.

"It's clear that Teradata has unparalleled expertise in data analytics and has an enterprise customer base that is the envy of most software companies," Bennett said. "There is tremendous opportunity ahead of Teradata."

Prior to his tenure at Craig-Hallum Capital, Bennett worked at Northland Capital Markets as director of research and senior vice president of equity research in technology.

Teradata, a provider of cloud analytics and data platform solutions, is publicly traded on the New York Stock Exchange under the ticker symbol TDC.

The appointment comes as Teradata continues to focus on growth in the cloud analytics and artificial intelligence sectors.
