Yellowbrick Data, the Kubernetes-native data platform company, announced Tuesday that insightsoftware has selected Yellowbrick for its Angles Enterprise for SAP financial management service. insightsoftware provides financial planning, accounting and operations solutions to over 32,000 global customers. With 425% growth over five years, the company faced challenges from rapid expansion including increased costs, complexity and performance bottlenecks in its data warehouse.
Analytics accuracy requires frequent data loads, but users struggled executing concurrent queries during refreshes. Yellowbrick addresses this by allowing queries on fresh data without performance trade-offs, improving service quality. "At the heart of Angles Enterprise is an impossibly complex proprietary model built to make sense of SAP supply chains," said Christopher Barnes, insightsoftware's VP of engineering. "Yellowbrick provides unparalleled data load and query performance on massive datasets, enabling fast insights and timely decisions in business-critical use cases."
The solution fits insightsoftware's AWS strategy, providing competitive pricing and advanced data acceleration, Barnes said."insightsoftware operates mission-critical services at significant scale," said Neil Carson, Yellowbrick Data's CEO and co-founder.
